Reiki
Is reiki a religion? – Although reiki is spiritual in nature it is not a religion, therefore people from any religion as well as atheists can benefit from it.
How is a reiki treatment given?
The client will preferably be lying down on a couch or if preferred they can be sitting or standing and remain fully clothed. The practitioner places their hands on or off the body. Whichever option makes the client comfortable and relaxed. We work from the top of the clients head down to their toes, depending on their needs. The whole treatment takes forty-five minutes to an hour.
What does reiki healing feel like?
Everyone experiences the healing differently, most experience a feeling of warmth and deep relaxation. The reiki energy encourages you to let go of all tension, anxieties, fear and other negative energies. Clients experience peace and wellbeing and can even drift off to sleep. Some clients experience a levitating feeling and a total calmness at the end of the session. Clients feel that a weight is lifted from their shoulders. Clients feel centred, ready to tackle anything in a positive manner.

Many forms of illness and negative conditions can have a positive affect from reiki. Whether you have had pain and discomfort for years or a few days, reiki healing may help you.
